Why I'm Building Everly

I've spent years trying to understand what makes relationships last. It started when people close to me went through painful splits that seemed to come out of nowhere. I became obsessed with understanding why — reading everything, observing, and asking hard questions — until I arrived at a simple belief: that the couples who stay deeply connected aren't better matched. They're more intentional.

I found myself applying that in my own relationship. My husband and I were deliberate about it. Date nights, new experiences, genuinely showing up for each other. But as busy professionals, life has a way of winning. Plans got rescheduled. Evenings that used to feel like ours got absorbed by everything else. Nothing was wrong. We'd just slowly stopped being as intentional about us.

That's why I'm building Everly.

Most couples don't lack love or effort. They lack infrastructure. The ritual, the nudge, the well-curated plan that makes showing up for each other easy. Your relationship shouldn't have to compete with everything else on your calendar. It should be protected. Everly is designed to do just that.
